Will I get a Homepage that suits me and my Art?

Yes. After you place your online order and fill out your request form, our team will discuss your wishes and your art and create an artist website tailored to you and your art, so that the focus of your artist homepage is on you and your art.

How long does it take to get my Artist Website?

To create your new artist website, we need all of your information, such as your logo, biography, references, social media links, imprint information, etc. As soon as we have received all of your information, we can begin creating your artist website. Our team is working quickly; creation typically takes between 2 and 5 weeks. Once your artist website is complete, we will notify you. If you are satisfied with it and approve it, we can put it online for everyone to access.

Can I make changes to my Website?

We’ve created a small creative design specifically for you, allowing you to make changes and/or updates to your content yourself. If you have larger, technical changes you’d like to make, such as revising or creating a new section, Artisdo also offers special technical web maintenance flat-rate packages. The number of possible updates depends on the package you choose. You can find more information at www.artisdo.com/webpflege.

I want to move my domain(s) to Artisdo. What do I need to do and what do I need to consider?

If you want to transfer your existing domain, which you registered with another provider, to us, all you need to do is ask your provider to release your domain for domain transfer and request the auth code. Your provider will send this to your registered admin address. Your provider’s support team will assist you with this. Once you receive the auth code, simply send it to us, and we will transfer your domain. A domain transfer/domain move typically takes 1-5 days.

What is an Auth Code?

For your general knowledge: Auth codes (also called authorization codes, authinfo, EPP keys, or domain keys) are alphanumeric security codes, i.e., unique and personalized codes for top-level domains. These are used to authenticate the owner of a domain or an authorized person in order to be able to perform a domain transfer when changing providers.

What happens to my email address(es) when I transfer a domain?

During a domain transfer, your email addresses (as well as your emails and contacts) will not be taken into account. These will be created anew with your new provider. We therefore recommend backing up your data locally before the transfer.

What are Artisdo Xtras?

A special feature of Artisdo are the Artisdo Xtras (such as the Artist Card, etc.). These are additional services that can be booked with some of our website packages and can be created at the request of the Artisdo artist, i.e. you.

Wann bekomme ich mein “About Me” Interview?

If you booked an „About Me“, you have the opportunity to benefit from our Artisdo Specials. In addition to your homepage, you can request an „About Me“ interview. This is not an essential part of the service or contract, but rather an additional service we offer. When and whether you receive your „About Me“ interview depends, among other things, on you. We usually shoot on specific dates at different locations. Try to attend as soon as possible so you can get your „About Me“ interview as soon as possible. Artisdo Production will communicate the dates to you.

How can I book the privacy service packages?

In order to book the service, you must identify yourself as a private individual with your valid identity card, or as a tradesman, self-employed person, freelancer with a valid business registration, i.e. you must submit a copy of the relevant document.

How and where can I access my emails?

To access your Artisdo email address, simply go to https://webmail.[your domain].com and log in with your email address and password. That’s it! For example: https://webmail.prat-bidd.com

Do you already have a domain and want to continue using it?

If you already have a domain, you can transfer it to us. Or you can simply set up domain forwarding with your provider. When ordering the domain, you’ll need to specify and confirm that you are the actual owner of your (desired) domain. Tip: We believe the easier way is to transfer your domain directly to us.

Can I upgrade my existing web package to one of the other packages later?

If you find that another package better meets your needs or content updates, you can easily upgrade from your existing package to one of our other packages at any time; the amount already paid will simply be credited. Downgrading is also possible without any problems; the remaining amount will be credited to your customer account. Your existing website and its content will remain intact.

How long does it take to update your content?

Our team works as quickly as possible. If you use one of the Artisdo web maintenance flat-rate packages, your content will typically be updated within 5 business days.

How is the payment process and how long is the payment period for the creation fee?

You have the freedom to choose! Our packages have a minimum contract term of 12 months. You can pay for your Artisdo Web package during this time using one of our payment frequency options. Choose between annual, semi-annual, or quarterly payments. See our payment frequency options for details. Only the Static Package and Static Plus Package require a single payment per year, unless one of the packages is combined with the Service Packages, in which case you have complete flexibility in choosing the payment frequency. The payment frequency can be changed at any time from the beginning of a quarter.

What is the payment schedule for the service packages?

The choice is yours! Our packages have a minimum contract term of 12 months. During this period, you can pay for your Artisdo Web package using one of our payment frequency options. You can pay quarterly, semi-annually, or the entire year in advance. See our payment frequency options for details. Only the Static package requires full payment upfront. The payment frequency can be changed at any time from the beginning of a quarter.

From what amount can I use the Artisdo payment schedule?

Amounts under 120,00 € per year are generally billed annually in advance. Anything above that can be combined with Artisdo’s payment schedules.

What is the termination process and notice period?

Termination must be made in writing; you don’t need to provide a reason for termination. The notice period is three months prior to the end of the contract. If you don’t terminate, your contract will automatically be extended for another 12 months, and payment of the remaining amount will continue according to your chosen payment frequency option.

What is Artisdo WHOIS Privacy Protect?

If you choose our Artisdo WHOIS Privacy Protect option (private domain registration), you benefit from the highest level of anonymity and privacy. Typically, the domain owner’s personal data is publicly visible via the public WHOIS query. This is where our Artisdo WHOIS Privacy Protect comes into play. Your personal information will not be displayed in the WHOIS database. This protects your data from misuse and spam by third parties. (ARTISDO WHOIS PRIVACY PROTECT can be used for the following domain extensions: *.COM, *.NET, *.ORG, *.INFO, *.BIZ, *.CO, *.TV, *.MOBI, *.NAME, *.CC)
